2022 Ford Super Duty

The Ford Super Duty is available in a selection of attractive exterior paint colors, such as Race Red, Atlas Blue, Antimatter Blue, and Stone Gray. Many different configurations are offered, which will enable you to select a truck that suits your needs. You can choose from three cab body styles, which can be paired with either a standard or a long bed. The truck is also available in three models, namely the F-250, F-350, and F-450, which offer increasing towing and payload capacity as you move up the line. Six trim levels are provided: the XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited. You can also opt for one of the available cosmetic packages. The Black Appearance Package, for instance, comes with 20-inch black-painted aluminum wheels and blacked-out accents, while the Sport Appearance Package offers body-color front and rear bumpers and chrome exhaust tips.

Three robust powertrains are featured with the Super Duty. The standard 6.2-liter V-8 engine delivers an output of 430 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque, while an available 7.3-liter V-8 engine generates 430 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque. For an impressive output of 475 horsepower and 1,050 pound-feet of torque, opt for the available 6.7-liter turbo-diesel V-8 engine. While a six-speed automatic transmission is available, most trims come with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Both rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive are offered.

The gas-powered model of the Super-Duty has a best-in-class tow rating of 21,000 pounds, while the diesel model has a tow rating of 24,000 pounds. In addition, the Super Duty offers a maximum gooseneck tow rating of 37,000 pounds and a best-in-class maximum payload rating of 7,850 pounds. For superior off-road performance, opt for the Tremor Off-Road Package, which comes with off-road-tuned front and rear suspensions, 35-inch maximum traction tires, and convenient features such as Rock Crawl and Trail Control modes.

The cabin of the Super Duty is ergonomically designed and well laid out. Plenty of head- and legroom is provided for passengers, and the cabin also features many cubbies and trays, as well as a lock box under the rear seat. For the 2022 model year, a new 12-inch infotainment system with Ford's Sync 4 software is provided. This system offers wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, enhanced voice recognition, and cloud-based connectivity. Depending on which model you choose, your Super Duty can be fitted with premium features such as a self-dimming rearview mirror, a heated steering wheel, and leather upholstery. Other available features include heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, a Bang&Olufsen sound system with 10 speakers, and a wireless charging pad.

Ford's Co-Pilot360 suite consists of advanced available driver-assist features like pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control and forward-collision warning with brake support, and a blind-spot monitor. You'll also receive lane-keeping assist, automatic high beams, and a rear-view camera.
